The Center for Plastics Innovation (CPI) is hosting the Polymer Sustainability Workshop for students and educators on Friday, May 3rd from 9am – 3pm EST at the FinTech Building on STAR Campus at UD. This workshop was developed with researchers at NREL where it has been hosted twice and we are excited to finally hold one on the east coast!
In collaboration with West Chester University, we will be presenting concepts surrounding plastics sustainability using hands-on activities geared toward the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for K-12 classrooms. The event is free and lunch will be provided for all registered participants.

We are looking for both students and educators from regional (DE, PA, MD, NJ) school districts to participate. The programming is geared towards K-12, but all levels are welcome to attend. We especially encourage attendees from Title I schools. There is a registration link on the attached flyer or interested parties can use the following link to register: 2024 Polymer Sustainability Workshop for Students and Educators.
